Guests have been welcomed in the former Carlton (Brünig et l'Univers) and Villa Europe hotels since 1898. The two hotels can look back on a tradition of over 120 years. With a lot of passion, the Bernessis Hotel AG, under the management of Stephan JJ. Maeder, and led the resort to new splendour with a new building and annual renovations. Since 2006, the hotel has been run as the Carlton-Europe Vintage Hotel.
